How to order — twelve steps, three periods

Enquiry, order and delivery: twelve steps, three periods, from the first message to the bill of lading. It is one closed loop — a repeat order re-enters at step 5, so it never starts from zero.

• Enquiry period — steps 1–4 · inquiry, quotation, sample, proforma invoice
• Order period — steps 5–7 · deposit, production, QC & goods ready
• Delivery period — steps 8–12 · booking, customs declaration, loading, balance, B/L & pick-up
